New Year, New Priorities

Divas and Don Juans!

It's been such a long time since I've posted here (used to be a sign that I have too many) but I decided to start back using it because it's my only blog that allows me to just "be". Over the course of my hiatus, I accidentally fell into giving advice. Somehow, people seem to think I know what I'm talking about which is ironic to me since I can never seem to solve my own problems :)

With the permission of my advice seekers, I'll be posting some of their questions and dilemmas once per week with the hopes that the words I say to them may be useful to some of you. All my life I've been in search of the ultimate dream, to be truly happy. It's never been about the money for me and while some have said I'm a fool for focusing on love, I say a person surrounded by real love is wealthy beyond their years. It's easy to find folks to love your dirty La Perla's when you're loaded and well known but who's around when you're low on ends? Anyway, that's my focus...not love in the sense of being married and looking for a man, more like love in every relationship from friends to colleagues to clients and so on...In this quest I've come across a mirage of people and survived a series of mind bangs like you wouldn't believe! Do I have it all together? Well obviously not because I'm still alive :) but the experiences I've had makes some people feel comfortable taking my advice. We'll talk more about that later, for now I have to get back to my 5 jobs.....

Be good and God Bless!

I wanted to brainstorm, he wanted to pleasure my brains out....

So today I texted a friend of mine in desperate need of a vent session. To my absolute surprise, he was totally in the mood for a session we'd NEVER had before....WTF.ORG!?! So I've texted him in the past at all hours of the night without any misconceptions or mixed emotions.....Guess things change when we least expect them to.... Is it true that men and women really can't just be friends? Will there always be some sort of sexual tension beneath the surface? I personally feel like having a guy bff is THE BEST friendship ever because it eliminates most caddy female issues. Guys may not be as sensitive but hey, I'm not "Sensitive Sally" or "Emotional Emily" so I need a rough biker or auto mechanic to call my own :-)

Maybe sometimes we do know that there's more to the friendship than we're willing to admit and that's when the rules begin to change. Should we continue to be friends with someone we know could want more? Are we setting ourselves up for more trouble in the long run? I'm sure we all know the reasonable answer, but how many of us will ignore it for an answer more suited to our own agendas? Just a thought..... Until next time, xoxo..V
